Opening Day. I was a little too enthusiastic.

"It's the first pitch of the season!"
"It's the first RBI double of the season!"
"It's the first souvenir foul ball of the season!"

And so on. That got old around the third inning. I would be the most gratingly annoying announcer ever, and then I would get fired.

"It's good that they have that five run lead, because now a grand slam won't tie it...."
