July 22, 2002It's been pretty damn hot out the past few days. The window unit in here can't quite seem to handle it. After all of the flooding back in May, we haven't had any decent rain in about a month. Poor corn - it's getting hit from all sides this year.
Since I have nothing interesting to talk about, but still insist on updating, I'd like to give a shout out to the automatic flushing toilets at the Olive Garden. Mad props for flushing three times while I was in the stall, and yet not after I actually used the toilet. That'll save some water. And the convenience!
Maybe I could put duct tape over the sensor next time.
I've received about fifty AOL instakisses lately, all from people I don't even know, and I've never felt so loved. I plugged in my user name and password on every one of those puppies, and I enjoyed it all so much I took some of the sites' advice and downloaded AOL 4.0 and signed up for my own freeservers site. It's a little heart-breaking that AOL is so close to running out of money and web space that they have to use multiple free hosts to keep up with all of those instakisses, but I remain optimistic that they'll pull themselves up by the boot straps and persevere and all that shit.
How is it Monday? Where did I put all of that time?
