I like to imagine George Lucas watching Hayden Christensen in the first episode of "Higher Ground" and, upon witnessing the scene in which Hayden's character trashes a house and then curls up on the ground and weeps that he doesn't want to go home, proclaiming, Producers-style, "That's my Vader!"
