There's a relatively new, state-of-the-art Dairy Queen around here. (Well, Dairy Queen/internet cafe. Pretty cool.) It has a huge, obnoxious neon sign that distracts drivers and scrolls phrases having to do with Dairy Queen food items, Jesus, and the occasional high school sports team. It goes something like this:
2-FOR-2 IS BACK! TRY OUR PATIO - IT'S HEATED! CELEBRATE JESUS!
And speaking of Jesus, I just can't quite get psyched up for Christmas yet. There are festive decorations at various drug stores and a big Christmas section at WalMart, but it isn't helping. Maybe I'll feel it after Thanksgiving.
So anyway, it's November. Figured I'd post something that didn't have to do with Halloween and/or Scott Baio costumes. Update the holidays I'm plugging. Then trail off into nothing for a month or so.
