yep

Classic journal entries. All were written between 1999 and 2001.

July 29, 1999:
"punctuation-a-go-go (in hideous colors)"
When I first started journaling, all the entries sounded just like this one, all light-hearted and shit.

August 08, 1999:
"drugs"
I've been out whoring for J.D. Drew.

August 22, 1999:
"Southwestern's 'Call to the Bullpen'"
I didn't have anything to say then, either, but at least I tried.

August 26, 1999:
"I think you look like a kangaroo."
The new fall line-up.

September 06, 1999:
"fairy boy"
Mourning my first internet casualty.

September 07, 1999:
"PIE! PIE! PIE! I like pie!"
The greatest entry of all time. I still like pie.

September 22, 1999:
"Crisp vs. Trot"
My first mention of tasty pirates.

September 30, 1999:
"that pretty much speaks for itself..."
Some discussion of my brilliant Christmas fan fiction, Phantom of the Opera: A Christmas to Remember.

November 16, 1999:
"itch"
Jesse Jackson comes to town.

March 14, 2000:
"or something."
A good example of the brief, meaningless entries that sprung up throughout the spring of 2000.

May 04, 2000:
"el journal loco"
Pac Man Park - An Introduction.

June 29, 2000:
"The Official List of Crap"
The Official List of Crap. I'm keeping it up for the odd hits it nets me.

August 14, 2000:
"le cafe antics"
A send-up of the topics on a Les Mis message board.

October 20, 2000:
"marsupial!"
This is what all my entries looked like in late 2000.

October 30, 2000:
"out of it"
Excellent movie ideas.

November 28, 2000:
"Trent Green should be allowed to live, but..."
A post-game report on the Saints vs. Rams game.

December 17, 2000:
"still trucking, so to speak"
I was heavy into my Sims in those days.

July 15, 2001:
"... you know, the real one"
Around this time, my entries started to read like my 1999 ones again.

August 10, 2001:
"I [heart] the cheap content."
A look back on the entries.
